About CONNECTICUT BALLET Center


Connecticut Ballet Center is the official school of Connecticut Ballet
, offering children's ballet classes for beginner through pre-professional levels. Taught by a professional faculty, Connecticut Ballet Center's classes includes a complete ballet training syllabus for boys and girls year-round.
 
 In addition, Connecticut Ballet Center offers
introductory and recreational classes for children and adults are offered in ballet, tap, and modern dance
. Connecticut Ballet Center is home to other program offerings, including capoeira, tai chi,  and Zumba classes. For info, call 203-978-0771.

NOTE: In the event of snowy conditions on a Saturday or Sunday morning, please call us at 203-978-0771 to check that we are open or check this website page. On normal school days, we follow Stamford Public Schools in regard to early dismissal or cancellation of classes. For that info, visit www.stamfordpublicschools.org.

Connecticut Ballet Center is for all dancers, both professional and recreational alike.  All our dance floors are specially sprung for resilience and injury prevention.  Our dressing rooms are clean and feature convenient lockers.  Bring your homework or reading material and relax while waiting for your parent, child, sister or brother.

All classes are taught by our superb, professional faculty. 10-class cards for adults are reasonably priced at $150. Students may come to observe a class with a parent or take a trial class for $18.00. The annual registration fee is $20 per person, and single open classes are $18. If you are in need of financial assistance, you may fill out a financial aid application, and we will make every effort to respond to your needs. If you enroll a second or third sibling from within your family, we offer a 25% discount.

Connecticut Ballet Center students have attended major conservatory and college programs (National Ballet School in Toronto, University of Hartford, Purchase College, Juilliard School, Walnut Hill, Mercyhurst College), and/or continued as Trainees with our affiliated professional company, Connecticut Ballet. Connecticut Ballet students, trainees and company members have gone on to dance with companies such as American Ballet Theatre, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Ballet Chicago, Feld Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Richmond Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Paul Taylor Dance Company, Dance Theatre of Harlem, MOMIX, and Hubbard Street Dance Company.
