Connecticut Ballet Center
Connecticut Ballet Center, the official school of Connecticut Ballet, is pleased to welcome you! Our center is for all dancers, both professional and recreational alike. All our dance floors are specially sprung for resilience and injury prevention. Our dressing rooms are clean and feature convenient lockers. Bring your homework or reading material and relax while waiting for your parent or child.
The Center offers open and pre-professional classes for students from Stamford, Norwalk, and surrounding towns ages three through adult. Our program includes a complete ballet training syllabus for children and adults, contemporary jazz, and hip hop, plus exciting ethnic dance forms such as Brazilian Capoeira.

All classes are taught by our superb, professional
faculty. 10-class cards for a
dults
are reasonably priced at $140. Students may come to observe a class with a
parent or take a trial class for $18.00. The annual registration fee is $10 per
person, and single open classes are $18. If you are in need of financial
assistance, you may fill out a financial aid application, and we will make every
effort to respond to your needs. If you enroll a second or third sibling from
within your family, we offer a 25% discount.
Adult classes include Adult Beginner and Intermediate Ballet taught by School Director Brett Raphael and Nicole Gaston. For dress code policy and specific schedule, see class offerings.

across the region.
Connecticut Ballet Center students have attended major conservatory and college programs (National Ballet School in Toronto, University of Hartford, Purchase College, Juilliard School, Walnut Hill, Mercyhurst College), and/or continued as Trainees with our affiliated professional company, Connecticut Ballet. Connecticut Ballet students, trainees and company members have gone on to dance with companies such as American Ballet Theatre, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Ballet Chicago, Feld Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Richmond Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Paul Taylor Dance Company, Dance Theatre of Harlem, MOMIX, and Hubbard Street Dance Company.
